Garden Grill @ Epcot

We wanted to book Garden Grill for the Breakfast experience however it turned out I had booked lunch. Not the end of the world as were hungry at this point so it didn't really matter too much.

The restaurant itself is a on a rotating floor and you should do one full circuit in the time you have your meals. You get to look at scenes from the living the land which the restaurant is next too.

The food is brought out to you on sharing platters. If you want more, your server will go and get you some.

We had quite a lot of food for the three of us but it wasn't anything special. There was some veg, slices of turkey, mash potato, mac n cheese, chips and salad. The best bit was the bread rolls which were amazing!

During the meal you get to meet 4 characters - Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto. Now when we have visited Paris the characters have spent a fair bit of time at the table but here it was a wave hello, photo and they were gone. Odd thing was it wasn't even busy. There was no one sitting on the tables anywhere near us so we felt this wasn't a good impression.

After 45 mins we receive pudding. Our daughter got 2 rainbow cookies and we got a sponge cake covered in berries to share. We both weren't going to eat it as we were stuffed but we had to try it. Turns out it was very nice and we ate it all.

The meal cost us just shy of $159 (plus tip) which we felt was a rip off for what we had got. We certainly won't be going to another lunch sitting at Garden Grill ever again!

I love theme parks (especially rollercoasters) and Disney.

Been a member of a rollercoaster club for 19 years which is how I met my Husband.  We now have daughter who shares our passion.
