After our visit to Disneyland Paris, I thought I would create this page to help anyone planning to go just with information we thought is quite useful.
1. Snack Packs
Snacks at any park are expensive and Disney are on the higher end of the expensive scale. So we found taking little snacks packs with us with some treats that we liked, just helped us get through the day. We didn't end up eating a lot of the stuff we took but it was there if we needed.
Some ideas for you: Cereal Bars, Biscuits, crisps, breadsticks, raisins, sweets, chocolate, yogurt flakes,

3. Revolut Card (or any Pre-Paid Credit Card)
We have a Revolut card. You basically add British pounds to it and you can exchange this for Euros or US Dollars generally at a slightly higher rate than the high street. You can then spend in the park as you like. We used it everywhere without any issues. We did take some cash just in case but didn't use it. We were even able to pay the tolls on the French motorway with it. |
4. Restaurant reservations
If you want a particular restaurant then I would strongly advise you book in advance. We wanted Cafe Mickey or Inventions both of which, were fully booked and we had to miss out.

5. Hotel rooms are HOT
I have never stayed somewhere were the hotel rooms are as hot as they are at Disney. We ended up sleeping with the Windows open every night as we were melting. Even the air cooling system didn't help so we ended up turning it off. I would suggest you take 2 pairs of PJs - a very cool set and a warm set just incase (no idea what the rooms are like in the winter)

6. Pushchairs
There are two things to note about pushchairs:
1. If you have a child who hasn't had needed a pushchair for a while, consider taking one. Rebecca turned 4 whilst we were there and hasn't been in a pushchair since 20 months old. There is a large amount of walking at Disney and we ended up using ours 3 of the 4 days we were there. You can hire them but I believe they are 20 euros a day plus a 50 euro deposit.
2. If you are taking a decent pushchair with you then also consider a bike lock for the wheels. I have seen on FB groups that people do have them stolen from outside rides.

7. Join a Facebook group for help & advice
Disneyland Paris for Brits on Facebook is full of people planning their trips to Disney. I have found this page really useful so would recommend you join.

8. Photo Pass
PhotoPass+ is a product that allows you to acquire a digital portfolio of all of the souvenir photos taken during your visit to Disneyland Paris, whether on the Attractions, or by Disney PhotoPass photographers.
We purchased this and ended up with 36 photos in total. Some from meet 'n' greets and some from the rides. We don't normally purchase photos as they are around 15 euros each on their own. We were quite pleased with the ones we got and have purchased another one for our next trip.

9. Baby Switch
Found an attraction both adults would like to ride, but it isn't suitable for the young ones? Just ask the Cast Member at the entrance if you can use Baby Switch and they will give you directions suited to the particular attraction.
Normally, one adult waits in the normal queue line whilst the other is allowed through to a waiting area in the exit of the ride, on the other side of the loading station. The first adult rides, and then you do the switch. The adult then taking care of the child or baby is free to leave and wait nearby whilst the second rides with no wait.
